I joined Clyde & Co in 2014 initially to cover a maternity leave role, after which I went on to another secretarial role before taking on the position as secretarial team leader. I have nearly 20 years secretarial experience with about 15 of those years being in the legal profession.
I have found that at Clyde & Co everyone is treated as a member of the team equally and we all support each other. This makes it a positive culture to work in.

An old work colleague was working at Clyde & Co when the role came up and, from the positive way she spoke of working at Clyde & Co, I thought it would be a great place to work.  I have certainly found this to be the case, having worked at other firms under tight deadlines and pressured environments, the Clyde & Co environment has been one which is supportive and educational. Whilst the pressure may exist nonetheless, the manner in which the team pull together and assist each other makes work all the more enjoyable. Being an international firm which brings in many different types of insurance law work makes it interesting.

From a secretarial point of view, I have found that at Clyde & Co everyone is treated as a member of the team equally and we all support each other. This makes it a positive culture to work in. Being a firm that is substantially growing, I have enjoyed seeing the success of moving into a larger firm. This includes meeting new faces and working with new people, not only in Sydney but across Australia.

I have been involved in some of the sports with Clydes, and it has been fun to join in with your workmates seeing another side of them. The after work social activities are another fun way of letting your hair down.
