After obtaining a degree in Scientific English from East China University of Science and Technology in 1996, I first began my career as an Executive Assistant in a British company. Looking for an opportunity to enhance my working experience, I decided to take on new challenges in the professional legal industry, I joined Clyde & Co Shanghai office as an Office Administrator in 2008. Moving into a law firm provided an exciting change. With growing up with firm these years, I learned a lot of new skills and was promoted to Office Manager in 2011.
The firm has been really supportive with my career development and assisted me through my HR studies.

Clyde & Co has provided me with opportunities to improve my work abilities and efficiency. When I joined Clyde & Co Shanghai, it was a much smaller firm with around 15 staff.  After the merger and office relocation in 2011, it has grown to more than 40 staff. I could see the potential for future growth.

Whilst I really enjoyed my role of Office Administrator and Human Resource support, I was given the opportunity to progress and work with my colleagues in Human Resource in both Hong Kong and Singapore. The firm has been really supportive with my career development and assisted me through my HR studies. I then became a qualified Office Manager to provide a better service for the firm.

There is a social and sports commitment group in Shanghai which organizes various activities and events such as bowling, pizza night, fruits day and donations for charity collections. I am one of the leaders in this group and encourage these activities so that everyone feels part of the team and enjoy a pleasant working life.
