I obtained my LLB degree with Eastern China University of Politics and Law in 2011 and passed my BAR examination in 2010. After graduating I joined a leading PRC law firm and then joined Clyde & Co in July 2014. My main practice areas are M&A projects, foreign direct investment projects and some general corporate legal matters.
Working at Clyde & Co provides me with opportunities to work with different partners from different jurisdictions on different types of projects, which is very exciting and valuable experience.

I joined Clyde & Co because I felt they had a very decent client base and were growing rapidly within China. Clyde & Co is also an organization which is very keen to help its lawyers develop - the firm does all it can to support the development of its lawyers, young lawyers in particular.

In one of our most recent major M&A deal acting for a leading PRC private group, we got the instruction because we were the only international law firm which had a Chongqing office.  The client is a domestic PRC client - comparing to international clients, they have different types of expectations for outside legal counsel such as they would like to meet and discuss with their lawyers face to face every time and they prefer to use "chat" type applications to communicate with the lawyers instead of email.  In this deal, we worked very closely with the client's in-house legal counsel and had a lot of debates with the counterparty in respect of the related-party transaction, evaluation of future capital raising.
