I completed a Bachelor of Journalism and a Masters of Business in Brisbane, Australia and during this time I worked in legal practice management and administration. When I moved to the UK I wanted to explore a different channel within the legal sector, and business development was a great platform to do this.
I've had the opportunity to progress my career far beyond what I anticipated in the past 5+ years, and I continue to pursue new opportunities at Clyde & Co

I've had the opportunity to progress my career far beyond what I anticipated in the past 5+ years, and I continue to pursue new opportunities at Clyde & Co with my recent move to Client Development.

We spend so much of our time at work so a good team is very important. I really enjoy working with other members of the business development team domestically and internationally, as well as the lawyers who sit within the international practice.

I have supported the marine and insurance groups on a number of large pitches for international clients. These projects require a lot of hard work and co-ordination, however they are also very rewarding. Projects like this have helped me build stronger project management skills, pragmatic communication and my commercial knowledge of the legal sector.

I recently participated in the Stepney Green Student Mentoring programme – philanthropic initiative organised through the CSR team in our London office. This programme has allowed me to contribute to my community with greater flexibility.

As an expat I have found Clyde & Co very accommodating: I've been able to work within the Asian offices to spend more time with family when visiting home and I am also confident that when the time comes to pursue my next adventure I have the full support of my department to pursue opportunities in offices abroad.
