Trainee programme

As a trainee lawyer, you can expect tasks to be very varied. To keep things simple, here are the list of tasks that you can expected to encounter during your time at Clyde & Co:

Undertaking legal research

Assisting in the drafting and preparation of transactional documents

Preparing for and attending client meetings and negotiations

Assisting in the drafting and preparation of litigation documents

Eligibility

We’re looking for candidates genuinely interested in the law and committed to a career in Egypt upon qualification. Our programme is open to both students of law or similar fields from universities near and far. However, regional focus is important to us and this year our recruitment will focus on candidates who are fluent in both English and Arabic languages. Other languages would also be an asset.

We look for candidates with excellent academics in addition to commercial acumen, interpersonal skills and adaptability. Your interest and commitment to pursuing a career in law in Egypt will be key.
