Bright Futures Programme - Haja's Experience

Haja spent one week as an intern as part of our Bright Futures programme in our London office and would like to share with you her experience.

Thank you to the Early Careers Team for allowing me to spend last week as a Bright Futures Intern!

The week was all-encompassing, helping me not only to learn about Clyde & Co’s sector-based approach, but also to grow professionally. Presentations on Insurance, Financial, and Professional Disputes, and a Projects and Construction overview particularly highlighted to me the diverse range of work the firm specialises in and how applicable it is to our daily life.

It was equally enriching to have guidance on being prepared for the workplace, whether through curating a LinkedIn profile or reflecting on one’s strengths. The variety of sessions helped me feel more prepared for a career in the legal industry.

A key highlight of the week was shadowing the Property & Liability team and the Corporate Insurance team. I am grateful to have learnt from such inspiring women, who provided me with crucial insights into starting a career in law, while also giving me some trainee tasks. I am also thankful to the trainees I met for their support and willingness to answer my questions.

Thank you to all at the firm who made this experience possible, and thank you to my fellow interns - it was a blessing to meet like-minded, thoughtful, and kind individuals.
