Programme overview

If you are looking for the perfect environment to learn, develop and progress, we think you’ll love life at Clyde & Co. We are the only international law firm with a full-service office in Kenya, combining more than 12 years of experience in the Kenyan market with a strong global presence to provide integrated services for clients in Africa. Our alignment with the interests of the corporate entities we advise is grounded in industry sector knowledge and experience.

As part of this programme, you will have the opportunity to spend six months across two rotations within commercial and litigation teams.

What to expect

We are offering an exciting and rewarding programme where Pupils will undergo training in Insurance, Commercial and Dispute Resolution departments to gain all-round hands-on experience.

At Clyde & Co, we not only offer legal training, but also provide an environment where professional experience and exposure to various practice areas are developed and lasting relationships are formed.

Eligibility

To be considered for the position, candidates must: 

  • be admitted to the Advocate Training Programme at the Kenya School of Law.
  • have a bachelor's degree in law with at least a Second Class Upper honours
  • demonstrate strong analytical drafting skills
  • exhibit strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • candidates who achieved an A in English or Kiswahili, as well as an A in Mathematics, will have an added advantage
