Clyde & Co Cares

Clyde & Co Cares is a global month-long campaign that takes place every year.  Its aim is to raise awareness of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals and support our charity partners around the world. Recently we focussed on Goal Two, Zero Hunger. Working together as a global firm, we donated time, money and food items to reduce food waste and address hunger in our local communities, generating over 100,000 meals. Now, we’re also uniting behind Goal 4, Quality Education and Goal 10, Reduced Inequalities.

UNICEF

One of our two global charity partners is UNICEF, and we are a founding member of its Emergency Alliance. Emergency Alliance Partners provide regular or upfront donations to help UNICEF have more certainty over its funding, and to mobilise funds and help more quickly and efficiently when emergency situations arise around the world. Our participation will play a key role in helping UNICEF raise awareness of the need to protect children when an emergency hits. We are proud to second one of our UK trainees to UNICEF’s legal team as part of our membership of this Alliance. (UNICEF does not endorse any product, brand, company, or service).

Save a Child, Global Paediatric Network

Save a Child helps sick and injured children living in besieged or remote areas to get the medical help they need. Through a mobile app, the charity connects medical staff working in remote clinics with a global network of paediatric specialists ready to assist remotely. As a result, hundreds of children get life changing and often life-saving treatment.

Legal Walks

Every year staff around the world take part in Legal Walks to raise money for frontline free legal advice services. Supporting these pro bono organisations helps provide legal advice and representation for those that would otherwise not be able to afford it.

We R Family Foundation

In Hong Kong, we work closely with We R Family Foundation, focused on supporting the development of young people facing disadvantage. For example, our staff have worked on a pen pal program with primary aged students, which also included an office visit and party with the students.

The Sparkle Foundation

In the MEA region our offices support The Sparkle Foundation which aims to create brighter futures for children in Malawi and across Africa. This award-winning grass-roots charity is delivering a sustainable approach to drive positive change. Our MEA volunteers have travelled to Malawi to provide educational lessons, prepare and serve food, and lead employability sessions for the wider community.

Donating our legal expertise

We’re committed to making sure communities around the world have secure and fair access to legal advice and justice. We’ve developed partnerships with legal clinics and NGO’s (non-governmental organizations), but you’re not limited to those. If you have a cause you believe in, we want to hear about it and find a way to help. By supporting these initiatives, you get to broaden your skills and knowledge in different ways.
