LIFT Insight Week: Abigail's testimonial

Meet Abigail who just participated in our LIFT programme. Today, she shares her experience.

“Last week, I had the privilege of joining Clyde & Co's LIFT Insight Programme at their London branch - An incredible experience that has truly deepened my understanding of the legal sector and opened my eyes to the pathways available to aspiring legal professionals.

The programme comprised:

• Sessions with Aviation, Corporate and Catastrophic Injury
• Mock Interview experience
• Professional development masterclass (CV & Linkedln)
• Medical Negligence, Case study presentation

A key highlight was the mock interview process, where I was interviewed by the brilliant Annabelle Woghiren. Despite having had continuous success in previous legal interviews, I was met with a humbling realisation: growth never stops. I received both constructive criticisms and meaningful praise — each piece of feedback gave me something to reflect on. The session showed me that even established strengths deserve fine-tuning, and that there’s always room to elevate my skills.

I left feeling not discouraged, but energised. Motivated to refine my approach, ask better questions of myself, and continue developing the qualities that will shape me into a capable, thoughtful legal professional.
