Meet the team - David Ktshozyan, Senior Counsel

David Ktshozyan is a Senior Counsel based in our Los Angeles office. Today, he shares his story.

“My passion for law began with my mother’s ambition. Growing up in the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic, her opportunities were limited, but her dream inspired mine. Today, I help clients resolve insurance coverage disputes in marine and energy, with a particular focus on specialist risks such as fine art, specie, and contingency.

I’m David Ktshozyan, Senior Counsel in our Los Angeles office. My work sits where law, art, and commerce meet. It demands a precise understanding of insurance principles and an appreciation of the cultural and financial value of the assets involved. It’s challenging, but that’s what makes it rewarding.

My day can involve a mix of legal analysis, client interaction, and strategic problem-solving. Whatever the task, my goal is simple: to be a trusted adviser who helps clients navigate risk when the stakes are highest.

Outside work, life is full with my wife and two boys. Weekends are spent outdoors or cheering on their sporting activities.”
