Meet the team - Leah Tingey

Hear from Leah Tingey, Senior Client Development Manager in our Business Development team based out of London. 

I joined as a Business Development Manager in 2021, supporting our PI, Healthcare, and Cyber teams in insurance. After briefly exploring another opportunity, I quickly realised that Clyde & Co was the right place for me. Within five months, I returned and began supporting additional business lines within insurance, further expanding my experience and contributions to the firm. Upon my return, I covered the maternity leave of a Senior Manager, which allowed me to take on new responsibilities and reach the next level in my career. In September 2025, I transitioned to a new role and was promoted to Senior Client Development Manager, where I now support our Multinational Corporation Programme.

My day-to-day is much like piecing a puzzle together—seeking a holistic view of our global relationships and finding the white space where we can maximise our impact. I utilise various tools to do this; including analysing our in-house data, researching market data, alongside traditional BD and marketing tactics such as events, campaigns and pitches. Above all, my daily focus is about building and maintaining strong relationships, both internally and externally so that we all work towards a common goal.

Clyde & Co gives me the freedom to deliver results in my own unique way. I’m encouraged to be bold, think creatively, and, most recently, have been given the opportunity to engage directly with clients. Additionally, as a working mum, I greatly appreciate the flexibility offered here, which allows me to excel in my career while also being a present parent—a value that is truly celebrated at Clyde & Co.
